Talkism: The best term to describe the latest album release by Slaâ.

The interesting thing about a word that is not yet formally defined, is that you can easily repurpose it for your needs.

When I started looking for a title for one of my favorite tracks that talks about AI, it became obvious that Talkism was a good term for my work. By merging the verb talk with the ‘ism’ postfix, I found it perfect to define the global feeling of my surrounding world where too many people and machines talk with very little action to follow. Whether the talk comes from a biased AI, threatening social media, conspirators, or politicians, the goal is usually the same. The words serve the talker’s interests despite potential collateral damages. Therefore, talkism becomes the science of those who are trying to shape the world with their speeches, putting science and human-based social intelligence at risk.
